Stackpole 2018- Day 4 Our Last Night

Today was our final day of activities! Two of the groups were very excited about doing coasteering, something they’d been enviously discussing with their friends all week.

Other groups did the other activities, with cycling being a particular highlight! One group helped to clear an overgrown wall in preparation for a planned conservation project. The children are definitely tired tonight after a busy few days, and I’ve had a few comments that they’re looking forward to their own beds!
All the children have thoroughly enjoyed their week and it’s great when asking around that they’ve all enjoyed different activities. Tonight they are excited about spending their money at the gift shop and buying a keepsake to remember their experiences.

Stackpole 2018- Day 3

Finally, a photo of the whole group! It’s been such a busy week and another busy day today, with the various groups doing mountain biking, a coastal walk, coasteering, climbing and orienteering in the woods.                                                                                                Tonight, Class 8 are going do to their nightline, before an early night – everyone (staff included!) is tired after a busy couple of days.

The children have been a credit to us all week, giving everything a go and really digging deep when they come up against a challenge or something they don’t think they can do.

Tomorrow, the children are looking forward to their final activities, having heard all the exciting stories from their friends throughout the week!
