The letter that is attached to this post explains our new vision for the school:

“Nurturing every child to grow and flourish in Christ.”

It has been created through the hard work and imagination, creativity and support from all stakeholders. The vision shapes our beliefs and our aim is to develop the whole person – socially, emotionally, creatively, physically, academically and spiritually – in an environment that is safe, calm and challenging. Saint Alban & Saint Stephen Catholic Junior School provides a high quality education, founded on Catholic principles, recognising the needs of each individual and valuing the contribution of our whole community. This means that every child really does matter: we have the highest expectations for all children and help each of them reach their full potential. Our school is rooted in its community, but pupils are highly engaged with the unparalleled opportunities offered to them in the Roman city of St Albans. Our close links to the parish of Saint Alban & Saint Stephen ensures that our catholic identity is rooted in the local community and supports our vision.
