Individual Liberty and Tolerance Assembly

Martin Luther King Assembly – Individual Liberty

Mr Soyka led an assembly about the importance of respecting people’s individual liberty. He used the example of Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr to highlight the importance of the Civil Rights Movement in America in the 1960s. The message of the assembly was shared with all members of the school community: we treat each other we respect and dignity regardless of our differences. Please spend some time reading through the slides that were used at this morning assembly.
