Headteachers’s Newsletter – April 28th 2017
We are the Easter people and alleluia is our song! Welcome back to a new term. I hope you had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed the blessings of the season. It has been a very busy first week of term; the Dragon’s Apprentice Challenge Team collected their two awards at a fantastic ceremony on Wednesday evening at the University of Hertfordshire and the children from Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. You will receive a list of dates for the Summer term later today, please keep them in a safe place. Children may wear Summer uniform to school but please be mindful that the weather is very changeable during this time of the year so please ensure that they are comfortable and warm until the warmer weather arrives. Our next event for parents is our annual Crowning of Mary Assembly on Thursday 4th May at 9.30am. We look forward to welcoming you.
Miss Benjamin – Daley – Unfortunately Miss Benjamin – Daley will not return to Ss Alban & Stephen until the next academic year. She has been rather unwell and is not in a position to teach. We wish her a speedy recovery and welcome Miss Alexandra Somova to the staff who will take over Miss Benjamin – Daley’s teaching commitment.

The Big Question – “If elephants ruled the world, what changes would you see?”
The veil of darkness
transformed the brightest light.
The most dreadful end
became the most beautiful beginning.
The depths of despair
fade to reveal hope everlasting.
The curse of death
defeated by eternal life.
Thank you Lord for the wonder of Easter!
HAVE A WONDERFUL BANK HOLIDAY!
