Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 20th October

We come to the end of the first half term of the year and it hardly seems like we have been back at all. The redevelopment of the pitch commences on Monday and we are very excited by the prospect of having a first class sporting facility for the children to use in the new year. Please may I refer to the letter that was sent out yesterday and remind you of the very important points of health and safety associated with the project. It is vitally important that all members of the school community adhere to them. Teacher Parent consultations took place this week and it seems that many of you prefer having the opportunity of having a morning appointment. We will continue with this arrangement in to the Spring term. As the winter nights draw in please remember that as the temperature begins to drop children need to wear a warm coat and a jumper to school. Have a lovely half term break. School recommences on Monday  30th October at 9am.

The word of the week is – GRATITUDE – God gives us so much to be thankful for, but how do we show him our gratitude?

I Told God Everything

I told God everything

I told God about all the wring things I had done.

I gave up trying to pretend.

I gave up trying to hide.

I knew that the only thing to do was to confess.

And God forgave me.
